We had been a customer with him for 9 years until last month. In those 9 years we have switched companies 4 different times, which means we are not a loyal customer with anyone other than cooper. I wanted to switch from him last March when we bought a new vehicle and it took him almost 9 months to send the correct declaration to the bank for proof of insurance but my husband talked me into staying. In March we got notification from cooper himself saying he would be switching us yet again on April 5th when our old policy was over. Said he would save us money.. our insurance went up almost $60! Thats not saving me. Any ways We never heard anything else so we assumed he handled everything, until we got notice from our auto and home loan that our insurance info was not updated. This was around April 15th. It took us calling him to even get him to sign us up anywhere. He let our insurance lapse from April 5th until April 19th!!. He had no explanation as to why. Now our auto and home loan wants proof we had ins for those days and he cant provide that. So they are charging us for their insurance and we are obligated to pay it since he wont answer the phone or fix it. At this time we found out that he let our motorcycle ins lapse 2 years! They were automatically deducting it from our account, so i never thought anything, when all this was going on we found out he never renewed the policy. He tried to say it was because we didnt pay our bill! They deducted it for 4 years before that, nothing changed!!
Couldn't get me to go anywhere else.
Update: after calling to cancel. He did not actually cancel our home owners ins and they deducted 2 more payments. We had to wait 2 weeks for that refund. And we still have to pay for the gap in insuranceto our morgage bank and car loan bank. Ill say again, i definitely would not recommend cooper agency. Brian Cooper does not do his job.
We have now canceled all insurance with him and got a new agent but i would definitely not recommend this insurance company.

His office is busy sometimes, but i think the service is really good. Had a few problems where i forgot to pay or did something stupid, he was always willing to do his best to try to keep me happy. Good service, good rates.
