Horrible experience with this law firm. I hired them on the first week of April 2016 to represent me in my interstate child support/custody case. They ( by they I mean Alice Bartenan) said it should be no problem handling this case. Three months go by and nothing happens. I called them and called them, send several emails and could not get ahold of neither Alice Bartenan nor Tera Mull ( their paralegal) for a couple of weeks. When I was finally able to get in touch with Tera she advised me that my change of venue petition was denied but for me not to worry that they would file another one. By then it was already Late august and nothing had been acomplished. September, October and November go by and nothing. Again I start calling and can not get in touch with either Alice or Tera for a couple of weeks again. After about four or five emails and after leaving about ten messages with their secretary Tera calls me back and tells me she doesn't know what's going on but that Alice ( one of the main attorneys) would call me and explain what's going on. Alice never called me to explain what was going on. After that another two months went by and they never called me back nor did they ever again file anything in court. In February, almost a year later, I asked for a refund and hired another attorney that within 12 days had everything together and had me a new case number with a new date for my hearing. This law firms avoids emails, doesn't return calls and even worse do nothing as lawyers. They had my case for 10 moths and all I have to show from them is a denied change of venue petition which they got done within the first 4 months. I have no idea what they did the last six months. Please STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! You will lose your money and time!!!!!
This firm and Alice in particular did a good job on my case. She represented me well in my divorce action and I have recommended her to others for criminal and civil matters..
