Awesome train display
Fantastic displays! Any train lover will love this place!
I love all the history about the Monon and nice keepsakes in the gift store; have fond memories riding on this train from Salem, IN to Bedford, IN to see our grandparents. When the world seemed more safe; our ages in the summer of 1961 were 10, 7, 6, 4, and 9 mos. We went without our parents with no worries. Awesome childhood memories of our sweet Mamaw Sallee waiting on us at the train station in Bedford.
Outstanding display of railroad memorabilia plus an HO layout in the lower level. If you are anywhere near Salem and interested in the Monon, you must go. Of course if you about the Monon, you probably already know of the Depot.
